Southern Cross from Halifax crossing the Whale with Snowbird and Modaki .. the seas 3-4 ft choppy, but it was manageable … it took us 2 hours to go out the north part of the cut, cross in front of Whale Island and back into the next cut …. we have waited about 4 days to do this, you need the winds in the right direction and not too windy also
anchor finally down after a total of 4 hours travelling … we only got the main up after the Whale … and of course the winds where a lot higher than expected
having Happy hour with Clarity, Snowbird and Southern Cross
also lots of good laughs with some great friends …
we managed to stay awake until about 9pm on New Years Eve
