October 8, 2014 …. Canadian Boat Get together

we made arrangements with JUMP, to meet for coffee at Hard Coffee Shop, where we go to charge Computer, IPAD, phone, and camera batteries ….. and have coffee too

we got to catch up on news from Catherine and Gavin

just as we were about to leave Lisa Copeland arrived, she is from British Columbia, so we had a quick chat.  Lisa is author of about 6 books, 3 videos all on her families adventures sailing  around the world.

We have met before at the Toronto Boat Show, when we did our talks. …. and yes we have all her books/videos

Jacob's Ladder, Andy and Judy, made arrangements for a Canadian Boat get together, they went knocking on hauls of all the Canadian boats, that they could find …. about 20 boats with Crew showed up, all of us are heading south and will for sure will meet again further down the ditch

we also met a sailor from Kincardine, Ontario, and this is the guy that had his boat, docked at the boat launch ramp in Owen Sound for about 2 months …. Black Pearl V, what a small world

everyone exchanged boat cards, it was such a great time
