August 3, 2013 squeezed onto the dock ...

after 10 am when Chester got to work he did his magic and moved another sailing boat, that is waiting on parts, back about 10 feet and got us in in front of them ... the dock is about 70 feet long.  It got us the advantage to have fresh water to get the salt once again off the boat and out of the fittings.  We also got water in the tank, and diesel in the jugs ... we could of and would of done it in the dinghy , but this is so much easier.

included in the docking or mooring is kayak's ... so we will give it a try tomorrow , we also did laundry

the restaurant specializes in smoked planked salmon, we got to see it cooking on an outdoor pit ...

MODAKI is in front of the other sailboat ..

looking down on the river

we walked to the first water falls ... note the colour of the water, tea colour

a walking tunnel to the falls under the main road

relaxing, listening to the falls and water music

we have noticed lots of trees dying along the waters edge and in land too ... it is not the Spruce Bud Worm, but the salt in the air that is killing the trees ... Not a good sight to see ....."Round up", is mostly salt !!!

the skipper getting Diesel in our jugs

the main reason we came here, the skipper really wanted to soak in a hot tub

Scallops, with sweet potatoes and salad , supper !!!
