July 3/12
Fenelon Falls to Bobcaygeon

A short run.... we left at noon in the rain showers and arrived 3 hours later in the rain showers ... it was actually really refreshing.  The lock at Bobcaygeon was only  6 feet, so not much time filling and unfilling ....  There is a swing bridge within  100 feet of the lock and the lock master guaranteed that we could go under it, she was right we had 2 foot clearance.  At this lock we had thunder and lightning and decided to stay put.

Before we left Fenelon Falls, we grocery shopped, the first since leaving Owen
Sound, we only needed fresh fruit and veggies. Joe did a run to the beer store, and took back empties and then to Canadian Tire to buy a new smaller thermos, an inverter that can handle the lap top ... and methol hydrate for cooking.  I went to Sweet Bottoms Cafe to post our blog info.   It took me 3 hours to down load and publish,   maybe I am slow ...

Back to Bobcaygeon ...  we went window shopping .. went to Bigley Shoes and Clothing ....  more than 40,000 pairs of shoes and 10,000 bathing suits .. we took pictures so will post them ...
We checked out the Library and was told we could sit out front and get free wifi
all night long ...but my battery in the Mac won't last long enough for me to post anything

Something interesting :
A house boater, renter, stopped to chat and he informed us that you don't
need a boating licence to rent one ... it was his first time on the water, his boat was about 35 to 40 feet long and 12 feet wide ....
We have seen a few too many things to even want to remember !!!
